Jason Vieaux

Since becoming the youngest winner in the history of the Guitar Foundation of America Competition in 1992 Jason Vieaux has enjoyed a brilliant career. He is possibly the most sought after American guitarist of his generation. He has made numerous recordings and tours throughout the world. He heads the guitar department at the Cleveland Institute of Music. Jeffery McFadden

Having performed throughout North America and Europe, Jeffery McFadden is amongst the most sought-after classical guitarists of his generation. He is also a prolific recording artist, having recorded six Cd's for the Naxos label and various independent projects. He is bassed in Toronto where he heads the guitar department of the Royal Conservatory. This is McFadden's second visit as faculty of the Guitar Guild Music Festival, having come in 2009 as part of "Duo Spiritoso". For more information visit www.jeffreymcfadden.com.





Huston-Todd Duo

Richard Todd and John Huston began performing together in the Summer of 2009 and since then have presented numerous concerts throughout the Southeast U.S. This year they released their debut recording, Pura Vida: Music of Latin America for Two Guitars, on the Soundset label. We are pleased to welcome John Huston to the faculty of the Guitar Guild Music Festival. Richard Todd is returning for his fourth year to Fort worth. For more information visit www.hustontodd.com.


Miric Duo

Darka and Tanja Miric came to the United States from Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina. They are currently pursuing Doctoral degrees from the University of Minnesota. Previously, they also studied at Southern Methodist University with Robert Guthrie. They came to the attention of the Fort Worth Guitar Guild in 2010 when they participated in the Guitar Guild Music Festival as students. The faculty was so impressed that they decided to invite them back as featured performers so that a larger audience could enjoy their rare talents.


Chad Ibison

Chad Ibison is an exciting a fresh new voice on the North American classical guitar scene. Since switching over to classical guitar from electric around 2005 he has steadily bocome recognized as an outstandig instrumental and musical talent. This will be Chad's second engagement with the Fort Worth Guitar Guild, his first appearance as a performer on the Guitar Guild Music Festival.

Mitch Weverka

Mitch Weverka has been involved with the Fort Worth Guitar Guild since it's inception in 1998 and has directed the Guitar Guild Music Festival since it began in 2006.
